65; of Louisville

Funeral services for James Y. Norfleet Jr., 65, of Louisville, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel, in New Albany. He died Thursday Oct. 29, 2009, at his residence, in Clarksville.

He was a Louisville native and former employee for DuPont Performance Elastomers, in Louisville.

Survivors include his children, Charlotte Downs, Gwendolyn Thompson, both of Louisville, Nettie Edwards and her husband Carl, Babette Young and her husband Larry, Allen Ray Norfleet Jr., all of New Albany, William Ray Norfleet, of Louisville; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah M. Norfleet.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at Kraft Funeral Service, in New Albany.
