A funeral service for Martha Rose Weatherholt, 84, New Albany, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013. 

She was born Feb. 4, 1929, in Colesburg, Ky., to the late William and Ona Mae Shawler. Martha was a bus driver for 27 years with New Albany-Floyd County Schools and later worked at The Concrete Lady, Clarksville. She was the owner and operator of both Martha’s Grocery and The Fudge Farm. She loved to garden.

Survivors include a son, Steven Weatherholt; a nephew, Christopher P. McCoy; and a cousin, Ralph Shawler. 

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. 

The family requests expressions of sympathy go to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
