Funeral services for Paul Harris Lewis, 77, of Griffin, Ga., will be at 11 a.m. today, Saturday, Jan. 5, at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012.

  He was born Dec. 16, 1935 to Andrew Hubert Lewis and Josephine Harris Lewis. He graduated from Marion County High School in Jasper, Tenn., served in the United States Air Force, and had worked at various jobs, retiring from the City of Atlanta Tax Assessors Office, Atlanta, Ga., in 1988.

  Survivors include a sister Gertrude “Trudy” Lewis Wehrenberg and husband, Milton; nephews, Thomas Wehrenberg and wife, Celesta, Bruce Wehrenberg and wife, Susan, Mark Wehrenberg and wife, Valetta, and Michael C. Lewis; nieces, Mary Ann Wehrenberg Just and her husband, Timothy, and Lynette Lewis Seaton and husband, David; and great-nieces, Madison Just, McKenzie Just, Sara Seaton, Mary Grace Seaton and Jenna Seaton.

 In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, James Clayton Lewis.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. today, at the funeral home.

  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Grace Lutheran Church, 1787 Klerner Lane, New Albany, IN 47150.
