Larry Morgan, 91; New Albany

— Funeral services for Larry G. Morgan, 91, New Albany, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Kraft Funeral Chapel with private entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. He died Jan. 4, 2014, at his home in New Albany.

He was born April 1, 1922, in Huntingburg, Ind., to the late Otto and Florence Morgan. Larry was an Army Veteran of World War II serving under general Patton in Europe and retired from L&N Railroad after 40 years of employment. His hobbies included both golfing and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Fairy Donahue Morgan; sons, Michael Morgan (Connie), Patrick Morgan (Walt); granddaughter, Michele Cook (Bob); great granddaughters, Maggie (Jason), Samantha; great grandson, Michael; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
