Elizabeth ‘Louise’ Lee Daily, 91; of Henryville

Funeral services for Elizabeth “Louise” Lee Daily, 91, of Henryville, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at Adams Funeral Home and Crematory, Henryville, with burial in New Liberty Cemetery. She died Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

Born Nov. 16, 1921, in Borden, she was the daughter of Richard and Laura Swartz Lee. She was a lifelong resident of Clark County and lived in Henryville for more than 50 years. On Feb. 27, 1937, in Clark County, she married Johnny Woodrow Daily, who preceded her in death. She worked for 15 years at the Louisville Chair Company and Haas Cabinet Company for 10 years. She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and attended Bethany Baptist Church. She love to square dance and line dance four days a week until she was 85 years old. She even danced at her 90th birthday party. She was also a volunteer at LifeSpring and loved spending time with her friends and family. 

Survivors include one daughter, Marqurett Armstrong and her husband, Don, of Deputy; three sons, Wilmer Daily and his wife, Nancy, of Avondab, Ariz., Ralph Daily and his wife, Patty, of Aviston, Ill., and James Daily and his wife, Carolyn, of Deputy; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Edna Hendricks, of Memphis; one brother, Mervin Lee and his wife, Kay, of Borden; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, five brothers, two sisters, one son, Johnny Daily Jr., and three grandchildren, preceded Louise in death. 

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and after 1 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be given to New Liberty Baptist Church or Bethany Baptist Church.
