Elaine Combs, 80; of Lock Haven, Pa.

A memorial service for Elaine Combs, 80, of Lock Haven, Pa., formerly of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Grenoble Funeral Home, Muncy, Pa. She died Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Danville, Pa. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. 

She was born June 7, 1932 in Washington, D.C., a daughter of the late Lamuel and Elizabeth Atwell. She worked most of her life as a topographer for the Defense Mapping Agency, Louisville. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Jeffersonville and a member of L.A.M.S., Louisville. She enjoyed traveling and collecting art.

Survivors include a  son and daughter-in-law, Madison W. Jr. and Maryann Combs, of Woolrich, Pa.; daughter, Karen D. Combs, of Lafayette; brother and sister-in-law, Leo and Barbara Atwell, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three grandsons, Matthew E. Combs and his wife, Stephanie, Jeremiah A. Combs and his wife, Kristine, and Joshua R. Combs; and six great-grandchildren, Taylor D., Grace E. and Madeline P. Combs, Ayden M. and Dalilah O. Reed and Hannah J. Combs.

She was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Atwell; and two sisters, Ruth Tate and Mary McCauley.
