Funeral services for William Kenneth Turnbow, 59, Jeffersonville, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville with internment at a later date. He passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service and was a member of St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church. He was a native of Paducah, Ky.
He is survived by his wife, Rose M. Turnbow (Ernstberger) of Jeffersonville; daughters Jaclyn (Jason) Ledbetter of Jeffersonville, and Veronica (Shawn) Atkins of Fredericksburg, Ind.; his mother, Hazel Turnbow (Miller) of Quincy, Ill.; his brothers Charles (Roberta) Turnbow of Quincy, Ill., and Joseph D. (Annette) Turnbow of Adkins, Texas; his sisters, Patricia Kirk of Quincy, Ill., and Joanna (Gary) Bunch of Quincy, Ill.; his grandsons Nathaniel A. Atkins and Jacob Atkins; his granddaughters Sidney Atkins, Rhianna Ledbetter, Rachel Ledbetter, and Bella Ledbetter; his mother-in-law, Agnes Ernstberger and father-in-law, Gilbert Ernstberger of Clarksville.
He was preceded in death by his father William J. Turnbow and his sister Penelope Turnbow.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home.
