Hilbert Just Jr., 82; Borden

— Funeral services for Hilbert Just Jr. 82,  Borden, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at Legacy Funeral Center, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. He died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at the University of Louisville Hospital.  

He was born Sept. 29, 1931 in Louisville, and retired after 30 years of service as a mechanic from Ford Motor Company. He kept busy and always had projects in process from cabinet making to mechanical repair. He enjoyed spending his spare time fishing with his wife and family. He was an outstanding father and extremely talented man who will be deeply missed by his family.     

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara Just; six children, Glenn Just and his wife, Rachel, Kay Bledsoe and her husband, Mark, Keith Just and his wife, Marsha, Nancy Redden and her husband, Steve, Kenneth Just, and Neil Just; three siblings, Norma Just, Herbert Just and his wife, Vivian, and Bea Caple; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and after 9 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
