77; Clarksville

— Funeral services for Shirley A. Hill, 77, Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family.

  She was born July 2, 1936 in Louisville, to the late Edward and Loraine Hagan. She retired from Fischer Packing Co. and also worked at Walmart and Providence Retirement Home. She was a member of UCFW Local 227 in Louisville and the same bunco group for more than 20 years. She enjoyed working in the yard, tinkering in the house, and spending time with family and her beloved animals.

Survivors include daughters, Sharon O’Rourke, Jule Hill and Sandy Hill; brothers, James Hagan and Edward Hagan; sister, Louise Barmore; two grandchildren, Chris Boysel and his wife, Lesley, Lexington, Ky., and Jessica O’Rourke and her husband, Danny; and one great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Hill, and son, Jim Hill.

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home
