Virginia Lee (Staser) Lilly, 82; of Georgetown

Funeral services for Virginia Lee (Staser) Lilly, 82, of Georgetown, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (Chapel), with burial to follow at the church cemetery. She died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in New Albany. 

Ginny was a dedicated wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. She was born on Aug. 2, 1930, to the late George Lee and Virginia Louise (Hurst) Staser. Ginny married the love of her life, Edward Charles Lilly, on Aug. 9, 1947.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Edward Lilly; children, Craig Lilly and his wife Diane, Paul Lilly and his wife Brenda, Elaine Bailey and her husband Joe, Charles Lilly and his wife Marty and Virginia Stiles and her husband Gary; sisters, Tarassia Tharp and her husband Mark and Dr. Linda Magness and her husband Ken; sister-in-law, Donna Staser; 10 grandchildren, Angel, Chad, Brent and his wife Randi, Tara and her husband Eddie, Paul and his wife Jan, Matt, Kristen and her husband Brad, Logan, Adam and his wife Tiffany and Kelsey; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

Along with her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Staser; and her sister, Patricia Lamb.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany.
