Joyce loved unconditionally and was loved by all she met. We have been so blessed to have had her influence enriching our lives. In her earlier years, she was a religious education teacher, she was active in the CYO and she was one of the original volunteers in the creation of the Community Kitchen.
The family would like to thank Hosparus for the loving care they gave Joyce and in particular Joan and Kim who held our hands every step of the way. And to the many people who stepped forward to make Joyce’s life so rich and full with phone calls, visits, cards, prayers, and food.
A celebration of her life will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Cremation was chosen, following her wishes. Expressions of sympathy can be made in Joyce’s name to Day Spring Foundation (Residential Adult Care), 3430 Day Spring Court Louisville, KY. 40213. Envelopes will be provided at the church or Southern Indiana Hosparus.
