Kimberly lived but a brief spark of time between the two eternities. During that brief spark she graduated from Indiana University Southeast with a B.S. in Education. She became a teacher and taught many elementary school Children. She loved children and they freely returned that love. Kimberly believed in human rights and dedicated her short life to the struggle of all people to live free and well. She was a member of the American Justice Institute which provided assistance to the Navajo Nation. She was a member of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and the NAACP. She was devoted to helping others in their struggles in life. She will be missed as this world advances into the ages without her.

The family suggest memorial gifts be made to either the NAACP or to the American Diabetes Association.
