Jean Alice Dutton

65; Elizabethtown

— Funeral services for Jean Alice Dutton, 65, Elizabethtown, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Voss Funeral Service, Seymour, with burial in Bunker Hill Cemetery, Clark County. She died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at IU Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born July 8, 1948, in Clarksville, she was the daughter of Gerald and Virginia Casey Linn. On Sept. 4, 1970, at Jonesville Christian Church she married Michael Morris Dutton who survives. She was a member of Flat Rock Christian Church where she was very active in the TCM Ministry. She was retired from the Bartholomew County Home for the Aged. She loved to cook for the ladies of the Lodge. Always thinking of the needs of others, she made crocheting hats for the homeless one of her personal ministries.

Besides her husband she is also survived by her sons, Nathan J. Dutton and his wife, Ra’chel, and Michael M. “Mick” Dutton II and his wife, Stacy; grandsons, Josiah, Joshua, Elijah, Noah, Cogan, Gavin, and Tristan; step-grandsons, Daniel and Hunter; sister, Regina Crofts and her husband, Steve; and niece, Elizabeth Crofts.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
