Nathaniel ‘Jack’ Jackson, 84; of Clarksville

— Funeral services for Nathaniel “Jack” Jackson, 84, of Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan, 25, at Legacy Funeral Center, Jeffersonville, with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. He died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Westminster Health Care, Clarksville.

He was born in Perry County, Ky., a retired carpenter, a member of Christ Gospel Church in Jeffersonville and a Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He loved spending quality time with his family in the country and traveling out west with his loving wife.    

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Thelma Jackson; a daughter, Carol Fisher and her husband, David, of Scottsburg; a son, Clifford Haston and his wife, Cece, of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Jan Minnix, of Hamilton, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Michael Fisher, Becky Riggs and her husband, Andrew, Kyle Haston, Kevin Haston, Kimberly Haston and Kurt Haston.   

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and after 9 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
