Eleanora Ploetner Graninger, 94; of Clarksville


From those early travels on the L&N, Nonie had a terrific wanderlust. She traveled throughout the U.S. and regularly to Panama City Beach. She also traveled throughout Mexico, in Central America, China, the U.S.S.R., the Middle East and several times through Europe. She has a special fondness for Nafplion, Greece. She often traveled with her friends Mary Lou Myers and Pat Griffith.

Nonie is survived by her five sons, Chuck (Cathy), of Borden, Mike (Christine), of Zionesville, Pat (Elise), of Louisville, Colo., Chris (Leslie), of Clarksville, and Rick (Jeff Been), of Louisville. In addition, she is survived by eight grandchildren, Lisa, Trey, Kara, Kent, Amanda, Sean, A.J., and Christian; eight great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Nonie’s sister, Dr. Dorothy Lewis, preceded her in death.

The family requests no flowers.
