> SOUTHERN INDIANA — Funeral services for Jerry Ronald Wiggam, 80, of New Washington, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. He died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Hillcrest Village in Jeffersonville.
He was born July 5, 1932, in Madison to Charles and Orvia Stodghill Wiggam. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Coflict, a retired driver for the old Nachand Neverage Co. in Jeffersonville and a former tobacco farmer. He was a member of the New Washington Christian Church, American Legion Post 335 and was a former Democratic Party precinct committee member.
Survivors include his wife, the former Audrey Tucker; sons, Dwight Wiggam and his wife, Marilyn, of Dublin, Ohio, Duane Wiggam and his wife, Pam, of New Washington, and Derwin Wiggam, of Louisville; brothers, Norman and Larry Wiggam, both of New Washington; a sister, Audrey Richards, of Nabb; grandchildren, Erica Woodward and her husband, Gary, fo Charlestown, and LaDawn Woods and her husband, Cecil, of Phenix City, Ala.; gerat-grandchildren, Trey and Tyler Woodward and Castiel Woods.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
