Frances Lucille Case Kopp, 90; of Clarksville

> SOUTHERN INDIANA — Funeral services for Frances Lucille Case Kopp, 90, of Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. She died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at her home.

Frances worked for 10 years at the ICI Powder Plant and owned and operated Kopp Lakes in Clarksville. She enjoyed spending her time reading and writing.

Survivors include her five children, Richard Kopp and his wife, Patty, Sonja Mundy, Larry Kopp and his wife, Helga, Clayton “Merle” Kopp and his wife, Colleen, and Susan Sigler; daughter-in-law, Rose Mary Kopp; three siblings, Jeanette Heath, of Memphis, Ruby Carter, of Camden, Tenn., and Mary L. Stemler and her husband, Kenneth, of Clearwater, Fla.; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Kopp; her parents, Earl and Anna Case; a son, Tommy Kopp; two siblings, George Case and Mildred Smith; and her beloved Spanky.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday. 

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or Hosparus of Southern Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
