Richard ‘Dick’ I. Lynch, 88; of Clarksville

— A graveside service for Richard “Dick” I. Lynch, 88, of Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 11, at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. He died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Jeffersonville, retired from Gorsuch Foundry, was a member of the American Legion, was a Kentucky Colonel and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his son, Robert “Bob” Lynch and his wife, Susie, of Jeffersonville; two grandchildren, Courtney Seifried and her husband, Doug, of Jeffersonville and Kristen Lynch, of Louisville; and two great grandchildren, Luke and Avery Seifried.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Lynch; a daughter, Debbie Lynch; his parents, George and Grace Lynch; four brothers and one sister.

Visitation at Legacy Funeral Center in Jeffersonville will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
