Funeral services celebrating the life of John W. Frank Sr., 81, New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Palmyra Cemetery. He died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Deaconness Hospital in Evansville.
He was born in Evansville and was a retired sales manager for NAPA Auto Parts. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Toastmasters Club and Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joann Frank; four sons, John W. Frank Jr. and his wife JoAnn, Robert S. Frank and his wife Robin, Doug Tuley and his wife Lue and Dave Tuley and his wife Brenda; four daughters, Dawn A. Urbahns and her husband Paul, Melissa L. Van Meter and her husband John, Cheryl Dixon and Angie Bakel and her husband Kevin; one brother, Arthur F. Frank and his wife Des; one sister, Mary Ellen Waltz her husband Vern; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Matthew, Stephanie, Emma, Krista, Kirk, Tiffinee, Zachary, Crystal, Brande, Connor, Pat and Hunter; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Livvie Ann Frank; and a granddaughter, Malorie Beth Frank.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, New Albany.
