Delma Kenneth ‘Ken’ Romines

77; Louisville

— Funeral services for Delma Kenneth “Ken” Romines, 77, Louisville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy., Louisville. He died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at Norton’s Hosparus Health Center.

 He was born Nov. 8, 1935 in Slick Rock, Ky. to the late Carlos W. and Eula Carter Romines. He was a retired working instructor for Naval Ordnance and a veteran from the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He was also a member of Kenwood Heights Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Joyce Smith Romines; children, Donna L. Coates, Carlos “Carl” W. Romines, David L. Romines, and stepson, C. Earl Flake. He will also be missed by grandchildren, Darrin Miller, Brian Wooldrige, Adam, Amelia, Luis, Wyatt Romines, and Amanda Waters; along with nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He is also survived by brothers, Archie and James O. Romines; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by sons, Kenneth D. Romines (Kim) and Keith A. Romines along with a brother Lester W. Romines. 

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
