Anita Gardner Farmer, 98; Clarksville


Funeral services for Anita Gardner Farmer, 98, Clarksville, formerly of Smithfield, Ky., will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarksville, with burial in Smithfield Cemetery. She died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Wedgewood Health Care, Clarksville. 

She was born in Smithfield, and was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church. 

 Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Goode and her husband, Tom, Clarksville, and Shirley Boyd, LaGrange, Ky.; a son, Barry Farmer, Boca Raton, Fla.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph B. Farmer, son-in-law, Tom Boyd, and grandson, Jeffrey Goode.

 Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and after 9 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
