Janyce Michelle Popp, 64; Venice, Fla.

— Janyce Michelle Popp, 64, Venice, Fla., died Sept. 23, 2013, in Venice.

She was born April 30, 1949, the daughter of Herman J. and Dorothy Hubbuch Popp. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in physical therapy, and worked in the profession until her death. She was a physical therapist at Venice Hospital, the Green Valley Care Center in New Albany and hospitals in Louisville. A lifelong Catholic, she was a member of the Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, Fla., She was a loving daughter, caring for her mother during several illnesses in her later years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her brother, Jerome Popp and sister-in-law, Marcia Popp, Omaha, Neb.; nieces, Mauree Popp Barrett, Earlysville, Va., and Debbie James. St. Louis; and nephews, Adam Popp, New York City and Tadd Pullin. Omaha, Neb. She is also survived by an aunt, Evelyn Powell, New Albany.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
