William L. Gaffey, 39, Borden, formerly of Luxor, Penn., died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born March, 21, 1974, in Greensburg, Penn. He has been employed with Summit Trucking Company, Clarksville. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing and also liked to tie his own flies for fly fishing. He enjoyed everything outdoors and loved to spend time with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Laura Morgan Heitman and her husband, Paul, Derry, Penn.; a son, T.J. Gaffey; a brother, Robert Gaffey and his wife, Rachel; two nephews, Dakotta and Dylan; a sister, Janet Gootz and her husband, John; his grandmother, Mary Gaffey; an uncle, Bill Gaffey, and Pam Wallbaum; cousins, Billy Ryan and Nirvana Gaffey, Alyana Mauro; his girlfriend, Anita Holland and her son, Eric Elliott; and the Dennison family, all of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Gaffey, and grandfather, William Gaffey.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Greensburg, Penn. Services and interment will be private.
