Wilma Killen

80; of Sellersburg

— Funeral services for Wilma Killen, 80, of Sellersburg, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery. She died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, surrounded by her family.

She was married to Darrell, her devoted husband for more than 63 years. She was a wonderful mother, a loving grandmother and a dedicated wife who loved shopping, antiques, cooking and being outdoors. Wilma was funny, kind and loved very much by her large family and many friends.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell Killen; sons, Steve Killen and his wife, Marita, Mike Killen and his wife, Kathy, Gary Killen and his wife, Vicki, Roger Killen and his wife, Sam; a daughter, Kathy Stirby and her husband, Hank; sisters, Janet Briner and her husband, Bob, Virginia Turner and her husband, George, Carolyn Sawyer and her husband, Jim, and Jo Ellen Wiggington and her husband, Rick; brothers, John Walker and his wife, Patti, and Charlie Walker and his wife, Linda; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pam Killen.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, and after 9 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
