84; of New Albany

— Funeral services for Donald Eugene Robb, 84, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany, with burial in Hightail Chapel Cemetery, Taswell. He died Sunday, June 9, 2013.

He was born March 18, 1929 in Ray City, Okla. to the late Jerry Robb and Evelyn Bullard. He was united in marriage to Hilda Rose Adkins and to this union brought four children to bless their home. Don worked many years and retired as a mechanic for Jeffboat. He loved working with his hands, especially on cars. He was also an avid fisherman but his greatest love of all was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Mike Robb and his wife, Sandy, Collean Carroll  and her husband, Josh, and Rickey Robb; sister, Thelma McRoberts; grandchildren, Michael Robb, Lisa Robb Staser, Mitchell Robb and his wife, Nina, Chrissy Carroll and her husband, James, Melody Johnson and her husband, Craig, “Lil” Ricky Robb, Pat Robb and his wife, Leah, Billy Robb and his wife, Mandi, and Marcus Robb and his wife, Christina; 19 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Rose Robb; son, Bill Robb; brothers, Fred and Jim Bullard; and sister, Helen Davis.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
