Morris L. Reno, 71; of Underwood

Morris L. Reno, 71, of Underwood, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Scott Memorial Hospital, Scottsburg.  

Born Sept. 8, 1941 in New Albany, he was the son of Morris L. and Clara (Cuttingham) Reno who are both deceased.   

He worked at Syphis Technologies for 38 years as a steelworker retiring in 2001. He was a lifetime member of the Pekin Saddle Club, 15-year member of the Scott County Saddle Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting, auctions, and most of all, driving his tractor.

On Jan. 22, 1966 in Jeffersonville, he married Martha Sue (Burns) Reno who survives him in Underwood.

Other survivors include, a stepdaughter, Terry Hatfield, of South Dakota; a son, Jammie Lee Reno, of Underwood; three daughters, Kitty Susanna Densford, of Lanesville, Marsha Renee’ Reno, of Underwood, Chestina Renee’ Reno (Justin Hedger), of Underwood; three step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; two granddaughters, Andrea Siewert, of New Washington and Emma Sue Hedger, of Underwood; and a brother, William Reno, of Rhode Island.

Two sisters, Carol Sue Rightnour and Eva Kay Rowley, precede him in death.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Adams Funeral Homes & Crematory, Henryville.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
