78; Littleton County

— Funeral services for John L. Eggenspiller Sr., 78 of Littleton, County, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Eastern Cemetery. He died, going home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 13,2014.

He loved and lived for his family and his dog Wee Wee. He served in the Marines and retired from Navistar.

Survivors include four sons, John L. Jr., Jeffrey D., Thomas J., and Robert G.; a daughter, Terrie L. Lindslay; his sisters, Birdie and Sarah; grandchildren, great grandchildren; and his buddies at "The Station."

The Eggenspiller family would like to extend a special thank you to neighbors Betsy and Teacup, for all of the love, support and help during his illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carman C. Eggenspiller, son, Joseph B., two brothers and 10 sisters.

 Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
