Marion Estelle Gage Wiedeback, 84; Floyds Knobs

— Funeral services for Marion Estelle Gage Wiedeback, 84, Floyds Knobs,  will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with private interment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013.

Marion was born Aug. 18, 1929. in Evanston, Ill., to the late Fred L. and Estelle (Scharf) Gage. She was a graduate of NAHS, Carleton College in Minnesota, and was a medical technologist with Humana University Hospital, Louisville, until her retirement. Marion formerly served with the Civil Air Patrol and was an avid University of Louisville fan, especially of U of L basketball. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Survivors include sons, Fred Wiedeback and his wife Cindy and Bob Wiedeback and his wife Penny; five grandchildren, Scott (Jeanine), Daniel (Miriam), Nathan, Benjamin and Megan; two great-grandchildren, Zach and Kylie; sister, Antoinette G. Thomas M.D.; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Reception of family and friends will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Expressions of Sympathy  may go to the American Diabetes Association.
