Ethel Catherine Flannery

97; of New Albany

A funeral Mass for Ethel Catherine Flannery, 97, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany.  She was born May 1, 1914, in Floyds Knobs, to the late William and Sophia Crone.  She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, New Albany.

Survivors include children, Jerry Flannery and his wife, Carol, Patricia Breeden and her husband, Bill, and Colleen Richardson and her husband, Dennis “June bug”; grandchildren, Christina Smith, Dennise Green, Maureen Lockhart, Brian Smith, Bruce Flannery, Mark Richardson, Eric Richardson, Shone Richardson, Tommie Baskis, Ben Flannery, Molly Cordy, Jeff Breeden, Jim Breeden, and Jill Nave; 28 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.    

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Flannery, son, Michael Flannery, granddaughter, Julie Rhodes, and great-grandson, Nick Dunn.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, April 27, at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany.
