Margaret Mae Perkins, 81; of Nabb

Funeral services for Margaret Mae Perkins, 81, of Nabb, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in Barnes Cemetery in Nabb. She died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, surrounded by her family. 

She was born on Nov. 30, 1931, the daughter of Sherman and Mildred Parr Board in Breckenridge County, Ky. She was a loving housewife to her husband of 62 years, Frank Perkins, who preceded her in death. She was a former pharmacy tech for the old Goodman Drugs in Charlestown and a member of the Cosby Methodist Church in Legrande, Ky. 

Her survivors include a son, Michael Perkins and his wife, Bonita, of Charlestown; daughters, Brenda Wampler and her husband, Tom, of Nabb, Linda Brooks and her husband, Gary, of Charlestown, and Leisa Burgin and her husband, Bob, of Marysville; sisters-in-law Myra Powell of Elizabethtown, Ky., and Patsy Perkins of McDaniels, Ky.; and 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers, David and Harold Board; a sister, Ruth Janice Board; and step-son Donald Perkins. 

Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Sunday.
