Joe Zink, 53; New Albany


— Funeral services for Joe Zink., 53, New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. He died Sunday, May 11, 2014, at his home.

 He was a native of New Albany and was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School. He was a current employee of Apex Trailer Service, Jeffersonville, with 17 years of service. Prior to his employment with Apex he worked for his family business Zink & Sons Towing and Recovery Specialist, New Albany.  

Survivors include his mother, Wilma Zink; brother, Steve Zink; uncle,    John J. Becht; aunts, Agnes Becht, Rita Becht, and Martha Jenkins; nephews, Steven Jr. and Jack Zink; nieces, Tara and Tiffany Zink; and  his longtime companion, Suzanne Hadler.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack L. Zink, and brothersk, Larry G.Zink, and Tony J. Zink.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
