Ann Carron Garner

56; Floyds Knobs

Funeral Mass for Ann Carron Garner, 56,  Floyds Knobs, will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 19, at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Thursday, May 15, 2014.

 A long-time member of Holy Family Catholic Church, she was the epitome of volunteerism for her children’s many activities. Supporting her husband’s career in many ways over the years, she leaves a legacy of loyalty and generosity to her family, friends, and neighbors. She was born March 8, 1958 in Biloxi, Miss. to the late Fred P. and Cecilia S. Saxon Carron. 

Ann was a mother, sister, and wife. She was well loved by her family because of her constant desire to help other people. She loved her children and husband and only wanted for them to be happy and successful. When Ann entered the room, it was immediately lit up by her vivacious personality and smile.  Her light will shine on through her family.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, William “Bill” H. Garner III, M.D.; children, William “Billy” Garner IV and his wife, Dulce, Paul Garner and his girlfriend, Lyndsay Carr, and Mary Garner and her boyfriend, Brian Casey; grandchild, Quentin Garner; and brothers, Richard and Michael Carron.           

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, and after 9 a.m. Monday, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany.
