Kathleen J. Reeves Wolpert

86; Jeffersonville

Funeral services for Kathleen J. Reeves Wolpert, 86, Jeffersonville, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 19, at First Presbyterian Church,  Jeffersonville, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth. She died Thursday, May 15, 2014.

 She was a dedicated wife and mother and was an active member of First Presbyterian Church for many years. She worked for the Jeffersonville Trustee Office and spent her free time at their Patoka Lake camp, traveling and dancing with her husband, Bill.

She is survived by her three children, Suzanne Eckert and her husband, John R. Eckert, Mark Wolpert and Randy Wolpert and his wife, Marilyn; eight grandchildren, Kristy Beck, Stacy Kelly and her husband, Shane, Lauren Tanoury and her husband, Mike, Kathryn Wolpert, Rachel Wolpert, Amanda Gostel and her husband, Marcum, Lindsey Schaeffer and her husband, Stan, and Will Hacker and his wife, Kate; seven great-grandchildren, Lilly Beck, Sophie and Lola Gostel, Mitchell Schaeffer, Sienna Hacker, Julia Tanoury and Emerson Kelly; two sisters, Marilyn Duncan and Mary Lou Loughmiller and her husband, Don; sister-in-law, June Wolpert; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Wolpert, parents, James B. Reeves and Iola Mae Reeves, and brother, James W. Reeves.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Scott Funeral Homes North Chapel, Jeffersonville, and  9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, at the church. 

In lieu of flowers contributions should be made to First Presbyterian Church.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
