Ray A. Engleman

86; Georgetown

— Funeral services for Ray A. Engleman, 86, Georgetown, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial and military honors at Wolfe Cemetery, Georgetown. He died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at his home.

 He was born April 22, 1927 in Byrneville, to the late Frank and Bessie Dawson Engleman. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving with the Seabees, a member of VFW Hobart Beach Post, and a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite in Indianapolis.

Survivors include his children, Donita Eurton and her husband, Donnie, Shelly Baker and her husband, Robert, and Frank Engleman; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren and one on the way

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Carter Engleman and a great-granddaughter, Josslyn Miller.

Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
