Funeral services for Sue Pfaffinger, 71, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Scott Funeral Home, Jeffersonville. She died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at her home.
She was a people person who enjoyed cooking and entertaining in her home. She worked as a salesperson for many years, but working as a Financial Advisor was her preferred occupation. She felt that her clients were like family and she thought it was an honor and privilege to advise them on their investments. She was the first Regional Sales Manager for Kings Island and was acknowledged with the company’s highest sales. She attended St. Augustine’s School, Jeffersonville High School, and graduated from Ursuline College, Louisville, in 1964. Traveling and learning about new cultures and meeting new people both abroad and in the US was a favorite activity.
She is survived by two sisters, Aleene Pfaffinger, of Jeffersonville, and Julia Mode, of Fullerton, Calif.; five nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews; four great-great nieces and nephews; and dozens of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Charles and Elizabeth Reilly Pfaffinger.
Her body is being donated to the University of Louisville Medical School.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clark Memorial Hospital Foundation, Hosparus of Southern Indiana or the James Graham Brown Cancer Center. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. A celebration of her life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at the Kingfish, Jeffersonville.
