Betty J. Curtis Carroll

74; of New Albany

— Funeral services for Betty J. Curtis Carroll, 74, of New Albany, will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 15, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with interment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.

 She was born in Jeffersonville, to the late Harold and Elizabeth Richey Curtis and was the widow of Earl P. Carroll who died in 2001. She was employed at the old Robinson Nugent Company, a member of Floyd County V.F.W. Post 3281, American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post 28, and the Redmen Club. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Larry Roach, Randy Roach and wife, Nancy, Cassie Flowers, Joyce Brummett and husband, Bill, Martha Kirchgessner and husband, Melvin, and Lydia Edwards and husband, John; 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
