Floyd E. Stroud, 76; New Albany

— Funeral services for Floyd E. Stroud, 76, New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, at Seabrook Dieckman & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He died Monday, June 2, 2014, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.

He was born in Henryville, and retired from the Ameritech Company after 35 years of service. He was a 1956 graduate of New Albany High School and served as the Past Master of the DePauw Masonic Lodge and was a member of the Scottish Rite and the Shrine. He was a former  coach for the New Albany Little League and was an avid IU Fan, Cubs Fan and loved to play golf. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Judith M. Stroud; his son, Mike Stroud and his wife, Whitney; daughter, Dina Stroud Faith; three grandchildren, Emari Faith, Morgan and Nathan Gullett; one great-grandchild, Donald Taylor Spencer; and his beloved dog, Molly.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shrine Hospital
