Max Breeden

78; Corydon

— Funeral services for Max Breeden, 78, Corydon, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 17, at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home, Corydon, with burial in Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery, Corydon. He died Friday, June 13, 2014,  at Green Valley Care Center, New Albany.

  He was born Sept. 2, 1935 in New Amsterdam, to Harvey and Elsie Froman Breeden. He was a retired farmer and logger and a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, Corydon.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Fulkerson Breeden; three daughters, Anita Breeden, Lanesville, Carla Dobson and her husband, Tim, Louisville, and Diana Breeden, Columbus; one granddaughter, Caitlin Dobson, Louisville; three sisters, Fern Gehlbach, Lanesville, Christine Deich, Salem, and Waneka Mackison, Rockville, Md.; one sister-in-law, Martha Breeden, Mauckport; and one granddaughter, Caitlin Dobson, Louisville.

 Visitation will from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
