William C. “Bill” Enlow, 73; Georgetown

— Memorial services for William C. “Bill” Enlow will be at 7 p.m. Friday, June 20, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home, Georgetown. He died June 17, 2014, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services surrounded by his family.

A native of Milltown, he was the son of the late Cecil B. and Eva Jones Enlow.

He served in the U. S. Army, retired from General Electric and was a special friend to Christ United Methodist Church. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 years, the former Diana Dean; daughter, Angela Fitzgibbon (Paul), New Albany; grandson, Patrick Fitzgibbon; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Phillip Enlow and Marlene Smith.

Visitation will be from 2  to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests gifts be made to the Milltown Alumni Assoc (Scholarship Fund), Hosparus of Southern Indiana, New Albany-Floyd County Animal Shelter or the donor’s choice.

The family thanks the staff and doctors at FMH ICU and Kindred Hospital in Louisville for the special care given during his illness.
