Charles B. Pace, 71; Henryville

— Funeral services for Charles B. Pace, 71, Henryville, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at Adams Funeral Home & Crematory, Henryville, with burial of cremains at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Henryville, at a later date. He died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, 2014, at Clark Memorial hospital.

Born May 6, 1942 in Harlan County, Ky., he was the son of Harmon and Mary Susan Lee Pace, who are both deceased. He was a Labor Union worker in construction. He was a mountain man, loved the outdoors and was proud he served in the United States Army.

Survivors include three children, Bobby Pace, Clarksville, Troy Pace, Louisville, and Mark Huckleberry, Henryville; five grandchildren, Alexander Pace, Jeremy Pace, Sarah Pace, Hanna Huckleberry, and Teanna Huckleberry;, three siblings, James Pace, Pekin, Marlena Sonner, Charlestown, and Linda Barger and her husband, Charles, Ohio; and brother-in-law, Ed Basham, Henryville.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Pace and Nancy Basham, and one  brother, Leroy Pace.  

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
