Linda Ann (Sperzel) Agnew

68; New Albany

The funeral liturgy for Linda Ann (Sperzel) Agnew, 68, New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany, with entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014.

Linda was born Oct. 6, 1945, in New Albany to the late Parvin R. “Jack” and Jean Ann (Osborne) Sperzel. She was currently employed by the Kroger Co. in the pharmacy and had been with Kroger for many years. Linda loved horses but most of all she loved her husband of 45 years along with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Spending time with family, friends and enjoying her horses were the loves of her life. She will be missed greatly by all of her many friends and especially by her family.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brother Billy Sperzel.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Edward L. “Bud” Agnew; children, Buddy Agnew and his wife Amy, Brian Agnew and his wife Michelle, and Brandon Agnew and his wife Minette;  seven grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler), Brendan, Corey, Brooklyn, Kaelyn, AJ, and Peyton; two great-grandchildren, Macon and Landri; brother, Donnie Sperzel and his wife Ceil; sister-in-law, Lois Sperzel; several nieces and nephews

  Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Billy Sperzel.

Reception of family and friends will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany.
