William Joseph ‘Bill’ Inzer

75; Sellersburg

— A celebration of life service for William Joseph “Bill” Inzer, 75, Sellersburg, will be at noon Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany. He died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at his home.

 He was born on June 23, 1938 in Clarksville. He was a 1956 graduate of New Albany High School and attended IUS. He retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kentucky. He enjoyed IU basketball, beagles, boarder collies, rabbit hunting and antiquing with his wife. He also trained and showed two national AQHA champion quarter horses. He was a devoted and loving husband and father and a member of Northside Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Rouck Inzer; a son, Scott Inzer and his wife, Dee, Sellersburg; two daughters, Kathy Inzer and her fiancé, Vic Oberhausen,  Sellersburg,  and Holly Leidolf and her husband, Jim, New Albany; sister, Patricia Flynn, Jeffersonville; grandson, Cody Stone and fiancé, Jordan Jackson; eight nephews; and three nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo and Nora Inzer, and a brother, Denny Inzer.

Visitation will be Immediately following service until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
