Shirley Lee Fawbush Evans, 75; Clarksville

— Funeral services for Shirley Lee Fawbush Evans, 75, Clarksville, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth. She died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014.

She was born on Aug. 26, 1938 in Louisville, to the late Leslie Richard and Susie Johnson Fawbush. She was united in marriage to Wayne Stroud Evans on Dec. 16, 1955 and to this union brought four children to bless their home.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Evans; children, Janet Hubert, Diana Evans, William Evans and his wife, Tammy, and John Evans and his wife, Billie; siblings, Mary Money and her husband, Bill, Norma Money, Eva Amos and her husband, Gene, Claude Fawbush, Leslie Fawbush Jr. and his wife, Joan, and Ralph Fawbush and his wife, Ann; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Snoddy, and brothers, George and Charles Fawbush.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
