Robert George Zinninger

62; New Albany

— Funeral services for Robert George Zinninger, 62, New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with interment at 12:30 p.m. Monday, at the VA National Cemetery, Madison. He died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, Louisville.

  He was a native of New Albany, and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany. He was an Air Force veteran having served in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his sons, TJ Zinninger and his wife, Kate, and Wyatt Clark Zinninger, both of Gainsville, Fla.; daughter, Carmen Michelle Cannello, Oceanside, Calif.; brothers, Talbotte and his wife, Carol, and Chester O.  Richardson and his wife, Wilma, Greenville; sisters, Dorothy L. Richardson and Betty L. Liddick, New Albany, and Beth Taylor, Greenville; three grandchildren,   Chloe Rowe and Daphne and Sophia Cannello; caring friend, Angie Toncin; significant other, Teresa Cull and her children, Danielle and Aaron; and several nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas James and Virginia Daily Zinninger.

 Visitation will be from 1 to 8  p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
