Geneva L. Gosnell Hensley Boman, 88; New Albany

— Funeral services for Geneva L. Gosnell Hensley Boman, 88, New Albany, will be at noon Friday, Feb. 28, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, surrounded by her family.

She was born March 13, 1925 in Hart County, Ky. She formerly resided at Silvercrest, was the widow of John “Bill” Boman and retired from the old H.A. Seinsheimer Company, New Albany. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family and all who knew her.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Hensley Sr.; daughters, Judy Ganote and husband, Mickey, and Patsy Wright and husband, Bill; six grandchildren:  Ronnie, Brent, Mark, Jill, Todd and Chad; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; stepson, Larry Boman; and brother, Ed Gosnell and wife, Lorene.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Boman, a son, Karol Hensley, grandson, Brian Wright, stepson, Jerry Boman, brother, Robert Gosnell, and sisters, Christine Meadows and Laverne Ford.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
