Charles W. Fox “Charlie”

92; formerly of Clarksville

— Funeral services for Charles W. Fox “Charlie”, 92, Campbellsville, formerly of Clarksville, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, Campbellsville, with entombment in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. He died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, in Campbellsville.

The son of the late Carl C. Fox and Tina E. Gorman Fox, Charles was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church and was a veteran of World War II and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He worked as a salesman in Campbellsville for 45 years.

He is survived by two sons and one daughter: Larry Fox, Marysville, Russell Fox and Beverly, New Albany; and Suzy Ricketts and Mark, Charlestown; three step-children, Marie Ratcliff, Campbellsville, Louise Black, Frankfort and Willard Claywell, Houston; two grandchildren, Darin Fox , Clarksville, and Debbie Fox Kaiser and Tone, Marysville; one great-grandson, Jerry Clayton Fox, Marysville; and many other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Marie Payton in 2002; daughter, Debra Jane Fox; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Gregory Fox; three sisters, Helen Biggs, Ida Louise Richardson and Marie Conrad;  former wife, Nina Mae Hill Fox and special friend, Kyoko “Kay” Troutman.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
