Melvin Branson Isaac, 79; Clarksville

A memorial services for Melvin Branson Isaac, 79, Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown. He died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Westminister Village, Clarksville.

He was born on June 3, 1934, to Walter and Maggie Patrick Isaac in Magoffin County, Ky. He retired from Colgate Palmolive Company where he worked in quality control. He was owner of Isaac Small Engine, and Mel’s Tavern in New Washington.  

Survivors include his wife, Inez Reed Isaac; daughters, Sharon Isaac, Austin, Texas, and Maggie Helton, New Albany; sons, Walter Isaacs, Charlestown, Willie Isaac, New Washington, and Hank Isaac, Otisco; brother, Patrick Isaac, Salyersville, Ky.; sister, Garnett Reed, Charlestown; grandchildren, Michael Helton, Daniel Helton, Austin Isaac, and Ginny Isaac; and great-grandchildren, Jake and Zack Helton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and four sisters.
