71; of Clarksville

— Funeral services for Beulah Fay Edwards, 71, of Memphis,  will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 24, at Scott Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in New Chapel Cemetery. She died at her home on Thursday, June 20, 2013.  

Beulah was born in Kenvir, Ky., to the late Robert and Christine McCreary and previously worked as a caregiver and in the food service industry. She attended New Chapel United Methodist Church, Fisherman’s Paradise Church and enjoyed reading, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Randall Edwards (Robert McIntosh), of Louisville; a daughter, Karen Edwards-Moss, of Louisville; a step-daughter, Joanie Heart, of Miami; four sisters, Ida Hamilton, of Crestwood, Ky.; Dorendia Tucker and her husband Paul, of New Albany; Trenia Edwards, of Clarksville and Debbie McCreary (Maureen Keenan), of Louisville; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lewis Franklin Edwards Sr.; one great granddaughter; seven siblings; and a step-son.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

 Memorial contributions can be made to Hosparus or New Chapel Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
