William Huber Jr.

— Funeral services for William Huber Jr., of Sellersburg, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. He died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Clark Memorial Hospital.

 He served his country in the United States Army during WWII and took part in the D-Day Invasion. He retired from teaching at Jeffersonville High School in 1984, where he taught drafting and was head of the AudioVisual Department. He was a member of Calvary Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Minnetta Huber, of Sellersburg; a son, Chad Huber and his wife Shannon, of Jeffersonville; a daughter, Sharon Brink, of Brazil, Ind.; sisters, Collen Williams, of Brazil, Ind. and Rhea McKenzie, of Brazil, Ind.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Huber, of Sellersburg grandchildren,  Kristie Huber, William Huber IV and his wife Kim, Jason Brink and Rick Brink; great-granddaughter, Brianna Huber.

He was preceded in death by a son, William Huber III; and a brother, Donald Huber.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and anytime after 9 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Calvary Christian Church.
