Mary L. Hettich McWilliams, 80; New Albany


— Funeral Mass for Mary L. Hettich McWilliams, 80, New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at her home in New Albany.

She was born Dec. 9, 1933 in Louisville, to the late Albert and Sara Hettich.  She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene McWilliams; children, Eugene “Joe” McWilliams, Lisa McWilliams, Gary McWilliams and his wife, Karen, Mark McWilliams, Linda Heckman and her husband, Gary, and Jennifer Neville and her husband, George; brothers, Gilbert Hettich, Phil Hettich, and Jim Hettich

and grandchildren,  Sarah Heckman, Scott Heckman, and Josh Shimkus.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna McWilliams, and her brothers, Albert “AJ” and Carl Hettich.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany.

Mary’s family would like to thank Hospice of Southern Indiana for the wonderful care they provided over the last several months.
